Abstrak

Writing of scientific works in the background on a background fact that food needs that originally ran on four food unhealthy five perfect over the growing period is shifted into a balanced menu. Not all food can be described as a functional food products must meet the criteria of tertenu to dkatakan as functional foods. Scientific papers has the purpose to introduce Jankfood as a Probiotic functional food products creation of innovative alternatives to meet their nutritional needs, maintaining healthy body and delicious when enjoyed. Our meticulous research methods have some composition in the snap so that it becomes convenient. The composition refers to the protein contained in the body of the crickets with a processing form functional foods are no less tasty nuggets with other functional foods. In addition to carbohydrate content also in the potato and bacteria lactobasillus casei are very useful for the intestines. Because Junkfood Prebiotik is very useful for the body because it can maintain the health of the body and can be consumed by all circles so the food can be processed classified functional foods.

Abstrak

Celery (Apium graveolens L.) is one of many species in plant that thrives in Indonesia. Celery is known well in the community because it can be used as a foodstuff, and even because there are too much, so they are discarded in vain. The researchers were taking advantage of these substances for mosquito repellent with the hope of this success can raise the value of celery that is usually discarded if not used by the public into multifunctional plants, and researchers will make a pack in the form of lotions. The result of our research, indicates from first object using lotion from celery, the mosquitos were avoid. And from second object without using lotion from celery, the mosquitos were bites the object. Based on the results of these research, we can conclude one thing about celery is an alternative mosquito repellent that can save the health based on the research process. Celery leaves can be used as a mosquito repellent that is effective without the dangerous chemical.

Abstrak

Teh hijau digunakan sebagai obat untuk membantu diet dan untuk merawat kecantikan, seperti merawat kulit dan menghilangkan jerawat. Teh hijau juga dapat bermanfaat sebagai penambah daya ingat, karena dalam teh hijau terdapat kandungan Polifenol yang diketahui dapat berguna sebagai antioksidan yang mampu memperbaiki kerusakan sel-sel pada otak. Eksperimen ini dilakukan pada mencit (mus musculus) dengan media labirin kayu yang digunakan sebagai arena uji coba pada mencit. Pada penelitian ini didapatkan hasil bahwa teh hijau (camellia sinensis l.) dapat meningkatkan daya ingat. Ketika dilakukan eksperimen terdapat peningkatan daya ingat terhadap mencit yang diberi seduhan teh hijau.

Abstrak

Kebiasaan mencuci tangan pada siswa merupakan salah satu program Adiwiyata SMPN 11. Dalam melaksanakan gerakan mencuci tangan diperlukan sabun sebagai cairan pembersih dari kotoran selain air. Penggunaan sabun yang dibutuhkan tentunya tidak sedikit untuk seluruh warga SMPN 11. Sehingga anggaran untuk belanja sabun tentu besar. Kondisi inilah yang mendorong peneliti untuk memecahkan masalah dan mencari solusi dalam menghemat pemakaian sabun. Tanaman kecombrang (Nicolaia spesiosa Horan) adalah sejenis tanaman rempah dan merupakan tahunan berbentuk terna yang bunga, buah serta bijinya dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan sayuran. Kandungan zat yang ada pada batang dan daun kecombrang mengandung senyawa polifenol, saponin dan alkoloida yang mampu digunakan sebagai cairan antiseptik. Peneliti membatasi dalam penelitian ini hanya menggunakan batang kecombrang dan daun. Sehingga permasalahan penelitian adalah: ?apakah sabun cair yang berasal dari batang kecombrang dan daun ini aman dan efektif sebagai antiseptik?? Dalam penelitian ini, kami akan berusaha membahas dan mendeskripsikan sedetail mungkin kandungan dari bahan, cara pembuatan, pemanfaatan, hasil, kefektifan. Penelitian diawali dengan melakukan percobaan bahan daun dan batang kecombrang dengan komposisi yang terukur. Melakukan uji coba keefektifan hasil pada responden atau obyek sebagai sampel dalam penelitian. Melakukan tes efektifitas hasil dengan alat miscroskop. Objek penelitian diambil dari siswa dan guru SMPN 11 yang bersedia. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara. Wawancara adalah teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan proses tanya jawab yang dilakukan langsung antara pewawancara dengan responden. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Analisis Deskriptif Persentase. Deskriptif persentase ini diolah dengan cara frekuensi dibagi dengan jumlah responden dikali 100 persen. Setelah dilakukan analisis data dengan perhitungan deskriptif dilakukan penarikan kesimpulan.

Because of the new curriculum allows students to become more active in seeking references from various sources including the internet, but sometimes have problems in signal reception. So the problem that prompted us to conduct research to create tools in signal reception booster. After making observations such as: Learn about the signal, modem plug and play as well as smartphones and also finding the influence of materials used over the internet. And then we do a full implementation of the act of gathering materials practiced making trial and refinement continued with material. After passing the test in how many different places it can be concluded that the tool is able to increase revenue optimum signal may be a limit to the ability of the device. In the implementation of the curriculum in 2013, in which the learning activities of students in demand to actively search for learning resources from a variety of media (multimedia) of them are looking for learning resources via the Internet. But often times many obstacles when seeking data from a network of them experienced slow internet or slow internet lately. Signal due to unstable internet network or even the Internet signal can not be detected by the hardware used. This is what prompted us to create optimizer tool in catching the signal made of material that is simple, economical and easy to be like: ram wire, razor blades, aluminum foil and copper wire, after a series of trials and refinement then AL.Ma. Signal Booster with its system will optimize the signal obtained from the nearest BTS, it turns out with this tool can optimize the results of a previous arrest signals are less than the maximum will be increased as much as possible, so as to facilitate the learning process. In making our work is still very simple and far from perfect for that we need criticism and suggestions for the improvement of this work further.

In urban areas, water catchment areas such as the lungs of the city is very less. Most of the land surface is covered by asphalt that often occur during the rainy season floods. By making biophore which serves as a medium of absorption and acts as a provider of ground water. We examined the effectiveness of three different types biophore with different treatments to each biophore. Of some sort biophore, the most effective form of biophore is biophore with compost and the pipe size ? 25cm with discharge obtained absorption of 2.2 cm3 / s. Debit absorption is strongly influenced by the soil structure so that for future research are expected to pay attention to the influence of soil structure on the absorption in the region, and absorption in this region is affected by climate. The rainy season when the soil is less effective in absorbing water.

In our opinion, we try to research and experiment using waste materials (broken) USB mouse that has not value to sell out. We choose mouse because in SMP Negeri 41 has so many computers in every building which is almost 1000 student use it. So imagine that how many mouses will be broken everytime. USB connector is industrial standard for any devices and should be create something new. We realize that creativity to use it is needed. Simplicity in creation does not mean bad thing. But it does a challenge to student to reach. No cost is favorable. Finally, our research can be imagined someone in SMP Negeri 41 Surabaya to find something new better.

Abstrak

The widespread incidence of children sexual abuse in Indonesia, especially on the last decade. This phenomenon making the protection and the empowerment of children was further enhanced in various forms. The use of underwear in general most not be a deterrent to children sexual harassment. Therefore, we need an additional warning tool in children underwear which is able to prevent the occurrence of children sexual harassment, especially when they do their personal activation in the bathroom. It can be a good alternative because with the placement in underwear, the tool can prevent sexual harassment while still maintaining privacies. Based on these problems, this research will design and manufacture anti sexual harassment underwear for children. This underwear will be equipped with an alarm as a warning sign that the child is doing personal activities in the bathroom or the underwear is open.

Abstrak

Since the introduction of complex numbers in mathematics, fractals have been one of the most investigated subjects in math. They exhibit the same pattern at every scale. They are commonly used to generate computer graphics that resembles their natural counterpart such as leaves, snowflakes, coastlines, etc. Each fractal has its own pattern. By representing the complex plane with a grid, the Mandelbrot set is then plotted to the grid. The more iterations being done, the more the grid resembles the Mandelbrot set when the value of ?? is its initial coordinates. The color on each iteration can be changed to represent different colors on the grid. This concept can be used for color filtering as the pattern resulted contains a self-similar recursive pattern that is unique. There is a limit where the number of iterations results into a near-perfect Mandelbrot set, which is not suitable for color filtering as the pattern is too complex. The patterns generated by Mandelbrot fractal could be used for color filtering in pictures. The pattern can be modified by changing the number of iterations to be done and the value of ??. The colors can also be changed based on personal preference.

One of the most interesting problem in mathematics is finding the shortest distance between number of destinations. We are often confuse where do we go first to minimize the time and distance we get there. This problem is also very useful for mailing service, web crawling, network broadcasting and social networking. Shortest distance problem can be solved using various method such as blind search, heuristic and also human analysis method. Shortest distance problem can be solved using the 3 methods I am using, which are breadth first search and greedy method plus human analysis. Breadth First Search gives the best solution and Human Analysis gives the most efficient method. For future work, this can be implemented on GPS applications. The method can also be used in a 3-Dimension problem. There are also thousands optimizer method to discover.

Intelligence in logic and mathematic is one of 8 multiple intelligence. Logic and mathematic is a fundamental basic for science studies and information and technology. By learning logic and mathematic, we can understood the science studies better and we can also understand the basic of making a program. But, the practice of improving logic and mathematic intelligence is often seen as a boring activity. Based on this problem, we made a game to help student improve their logic and mathematic intelligence. On this research, we used analysis method on determining which calculation method is the best to determine the level of student?s intelligence in mathematics. We made a game based on logic and mathematics intelligence as a game for practicing and improving students? logic and mathematic intelligence. The result of this research is the program is fun and this program can help student improve their logic and mathematic intelligence. This program has some advantages, which is fun and effective as a learning alternative. This program?s difficulty level can be set by the user and can be increased from time to time in order to improve logic and mathematic skill. However, this program also has a disadvantage. This program?s level is limited only up to 20 levels. If user already masters the 20th level, then user cannot improve anymore by using this program. The difficulty in increasing logic and mathematic intelligence is, student needs to practice with harder problem each time they make an improvement. This requires a lot of difficulty level and wide range of problems.

Abstrak

CT Scan is a technology that allow the users to see inside without cutting. Medical imaging is the most common application of CT Scan. They are used to help in a disease analysis. However, medical images are generally of low contrast and often have a complex type of image noises. These image noises may disturb with the disease analysis process. Therefore, anisotropic diffusion is introduced to reconstruct the image to help the disease analysis. Anisotropic diffusion is a procedure based on nonlinear evolution partial differential equations which seeks to improve images qualitatively by removing noise while preserving details and even enhancing edges. The implementation of anisotropic diffusion can be done with the help of software MATLAB. So, the noisy images of CT Scan can be reconstructed by using algorithm anisotropic diffusion, and help the disease analysis by removing the image noises and smoothing edges.

Pada materi yang membahas tentang operasi pada bilangan bulat, tidak sedikit teman kami merasa kesulitan. Pada materi Bilangan Bulat terdapat operasi pada bilangan bulat, yakni operasi penjumlahan, pengurangan, perkalian dan pembagian. Berdasarkan pengamatan yang kami lakukan dan kejadian sering dialami pada waktu dikelas, jika teman-teman merasa kesulitan dalam menentukan nilai pada operasi perkalian sering menggunakan kalkulator atau HP. Keadaan ini yang menjadi pertanyaan kami, bagaimana cara yang dapat kami lakukan untuk membantu teman-teman memahami konsep operasi penjumlahan, pengurangan dan perkalian. Media atau alat peraga matematika adalah seperangkat benda kongkret yang sengaja dirancang, dibuat, dihimpun atau disusun yang digunakan untuk membantu menanamkan atau mengembangkan konsep-konsep atau prinsip-prinsip dalam matematika. Permainan papan berlubang dibuat dan dikembangkan berdasarkan konsep perkalian. Media ini diadaptasi dari media papan berpasanagan. Media papan berpasangan digunakan dalam menanamkan konsep penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan bulat. Media permainan papan berlubang merupakan alat peraga matematika yang sengaja dirancang, dibuat, dihimpun atau disusun yang digunakan untuk membantu menanamkan konsep perkalian bilangan bulat. Berdasarkan penjelasan dari hasil dan analisi penelitian maka dapat simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah; (1) Perkalian bilangan bulat dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan penjumlahan berulang. Perkalian bilangan bulat pada tulisan ini menggunakan media permainan papan berlubang sehingga memudahkan peserta didik memahami materi perkalian bilangan bulat dengan baik, (2) Dari operasi perkalian maka dapat diturunkan sifat-sifat perkalian pada bilangan bulat.

Surabaya as the second largest city in Indonesia, launching one of the program that is ready to be literacy city. To gain success in the city program related to literacy readiness as the city of Surabaya 41 Junior High School as one of the literacy school in Surabaya provide adequate facilities at the library. The problems rise by SMP Negeri 41 Surabaya library is not orderly library patrons in charging visitors book library so that the development of students' reading interests related to city programs can not be detected well. Based the problem, we are inspired to find a tool that is able to detect the number of library patrons to determine students' reading interest in SMP Negeri 41 Surabaya. We apply the theory of arithmetic sequence is stated in the calculator as a counter counting the number of visitors in library. A counter that we call magical calculator. By knowing the number of visitors to the library every day it will get to a conclusion how much students readinterest at SMP 41 Surabaya.

Curriculum 2013 is a Curriculum unit level 2013 education (KTSP) that focuses on mastery of contextual knowledge of the appropriate area and environment respectively. The curriculum focuses on student assessments on three things: attitude (be honest, polite, disciplined), skills (through practice tasks/school project), and scientific knowledge. However, the goal will not be reached by 2013 Curriculum if not offset by the utilization of appropriate supporting media. Based on the functions of the information and communication technology (ICT) is one of the important aspects and absolute is used to smooth the process of learning. Unfortunately not many schools have not been built and empowering ICT in the learning process. Based on the potential utilization of smartphones as a medium of learning, as well as the importance of the role of the school and parents in supporting the development of the child's education, then an idea is proposed. MSMA is Android-based applications that will help parents monitor children's activity within the school day. The problem which will be discussed in this research is how to build Android-based mobile application that is capable of bridging the parents and schools in the development of the education process monitor. The research method will be executed in six steps, such as: 1) fact & information; 2) survey & interview; 3) software building; 4) software design; 5) coding; and 6) software testing.

Aplikasi Microsoft Office yang terkenal salah satunya yaitu Microsoft Power Point. Power Point sangat banyak digunakan, apalagi oleh kalangan perkantoran dan pebisnis, untuk presentasi. Dengan memanfaatkan fasilitas ?Hyperlink dan Action? pada Power Point, aplikasi presentasi ini dapat diubah menjadi aplikasi pembuat game. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif, karena metode ini menggunakan jenis berbagai bahan dari internet atau praktikum. Kami mendapatkan informasi dari internet dan lab ( pratikum ) itu sendiri seperti kita membuat game ini. Permainan komputer ini sekarang berkembang pesat di karena gamer di seluruh dunia, pertandingan hari ini dibagi menjadi 2 Permainan online dan game offline. Perbedaannya hanya terhubung dengan internet dan grafis saja. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan kualitas serta fungsi coklat sebagai salah satu makanan bermanfaat bagi manusia. Subyek penelitian ini adalah 10 orang acak dari anak-anak ke orang tua, salah satu responden merupakan penderita diabetes. Data dianalisis secara kualitatif. Data kualitatif dikumpulkan angket untuk mengetahui tingkat minat responden terhadap produk. Hasil penelitian menunjukan tingkat minat responden atas greenchocotea yaitu 80% yang rata-rata remaja dan dewasa, sedang 20% lainnya rata-rata anak-anak. Serta peran greenchocotea yang merupakan anti depresi dan mengandung anti oksidan yang tinggi mampu menjadi makanan yang berfungsi bagi kesehatan, salah satunya diabetes. Simpulannya, greenchocotea merupakan makanan yang baik untuk kesehatan manusia.

Abstrak

In the national sphere, Indonesia may produce 100 billion plastic bags every year or equal to 12 million barrels to 1,5 billion litre of petroleum used to make plastic materials. Indonesia does not specifically regulate the use of plastic bins to residents of Indonesia. Indonesia citizens littering 4000 tons of plastics waste every day. Each of Indonesia population uses at least two plastic bags in a day. Based on the data and the facts mentioned above, researchers have some idea to be realized to process waste in the school environment that researchers SMK IKIP Surabaya, as well as supporting the waste processing business in the regional and national level and conduct research with the tittle ?CHANGING PLASTIC BECOM FUEL OIL TO RESOLVE PROBLEM OF PLASTIC WASTE IN SMK IKIP SURABAYA.

Environmental awareness of the need for the entire community. 26 JHS as one of the schools participating independent Adiwiyata help programs Surabaya city government to participate preserve the environment and biodiversity. One sat Adiwiyata program is to overcome the problems of waste and energy. 26 JHS environment there are many trees Bintaro (Cerbera manghas) which is one of the plants seeds contain 46.6% oil content unit and can be processed into environmentally friendly energy source. Bintaro seeds that have been through the process of drying and roasting and then ground into powder and then squeezed that will produce crude oil called Cerbera Crude Oil (CCO). The resulting oil is then tested to light patch and successfully lit by the light, while the dregs results briquette presses can be made so that it can be concluded that the CCO or Biobintafuel can be used transform and alternative fuel substitute for oil on the stove. To support the writing of this paper, we take a reference from Wikipedia, Blogspot, and Wordpress.

Abstrak

Clean water is an essential requirement in our daily life. There are many usability of water, such as for washing, drinking, cooking, etc. However, the current problem in getting clean water occurs in urban and rural society. The main factor of the difficulty to get clean water is water pollution by waste water or a particular element, such as heavy metals. Heavy metals including one pollutant because it has hazardous properties. Heavy metals can be found anywhere because almost all waters containing heavy metals. Properties of heavy metals are not biodegradable and easily absorbed. There are many toxic heavy metals, for example As, Cd, Pb, Hg, Ni, and Zn. Heavy metal would be dangerous if the number of polluting metals is out of the threshold range. Certain metals dangerous if found in high concentration in the environment. This is because the metals has the destructive nature of living things. Various methods have been developed to eliminate or reduce the heavy metals from the water that is by utilizing waste of banana peel. Banana peel (Musa paradisiaca sapientum) can be used as Bio-absorbent for waste water purification.

Abstrak

Orchid is one of the plants that have pretty impressive beauty. The success of planting orchids can not be separated from the selection of a suitable planting medium. One of the planting medium used to grow orchids are ferns. But the media ferns now hard to come by because of limited availability. Not being cultivated the fern and continuing in using the availability of natural planted ferns are increasingly depleted. The condition of this fern is very different from the situation of Water Hyacinth. Within 8 months of growth rate of Water Hyacinth is able to achieve !,9% per day and able to multiply to 600.000 plants. But with the abundant amount of utilization has not been effective. Though Water Hyacinth contains substances which are very good for growing plant, such as Nitrogen, Carbon, Phosphorus, Potassium, Calcium, Magnesium, Clorida, dan Gibberellins hormones and fiber that is capable of storing water. Knowing that, it would be nice if the Water Hyacinth used as a substitute for fern to grow the orchids determine the suitability of Water Hyacinth as a growing medium of orchid, the orchid cultivation is carried out experiments on Water Hyacinth media.

It caused by the unablenes of people in processing this plant?s leaf into a healthy product. Based on that, we initiate to give an inovation to turn the Tithonia diversifolia?s leaf into a snack with the form of nata. Observation?s result before, shows nata that formed by Tithonia diversifolia?s leaf have a good nutrient for our body. It contains sufficient total sugar and sugar reduction that represent a nutritious snack. It can give us sufficient energy and become healthy snacks.

Teens also didn?t want acnes appear at their face. People want a clean face. Moreover, acne also is the cause of some people didn?t confidence by their appearance. Therefore, many face cleanser products claim their products efficacious to cure and prevent acne. Many people, especially youth haven?t know klerak (Sapindusrarak DC). Moreover they never hear that name. SMPK St. Stanislaus, try to plant and grow crops klerak in school, and donate it to some organizations. This is done because we want to conserve klerak and introduce their potential to the youth. Meanwhile some research said, klerak also functioned as bio pesticide because it?s contents of alkali and omits itch because contents antiseptic. Considering of acnes are cause by affluent oil in the face and not taking care of cleanliness, also stubborn acnes that cause by bacteria, we attracted to research it, and do a trial that use klerak as face soap to cure and prevent acnes. Based on the background above, we formulate some problem: 1) Can the klerak soap cleans oils and dirt at the face? 2) Is there any possibility that klerak soap can cure and prevent acnes?

Abstrak

There will be a research of the contains and advantages of Pletekan (Repullia Tuberosa L) through its initial process, the blended leaves to get the optimal extraction, and boiled leaves as the next process Hyrothenis of the research based on literary study that the plant contains of polyphenol which is can be used as a medicine for diarrhea. The feces that has been chosen in the first process indicates that contains bacteria as a toxic for the body, and to find out the diarrhea or not will be proven by the comparison between samples, the bacteria growth in the first sample which is given by the Pletekan extract and without the extract as the second sample. Next, during the stronge for 2 days in the room temperature 25?C, the sample will be observed and compared by measuring the PH level and the contains of the sample with lugol liquid to test the protein and CUSO4 and NaOH to test the carbohydrate. From the PH level text, it shows that the sample oh Pletekan extract has PH level almost normal, 7 from the first level 6. Raising the PH to be 7 level it becomes normal so the growth of bacteria has obstructed or died because the saponir and polyphenol of the plant. It proves that this simple test shows how Pletekan extract can cure people that suffer from diarrhea through the obstruction the growth of the bacteria causes diarrhea, Entamoeba Histolytica and Entamoeba Coli.

Cockroaches referred to as pests because his habits are dirty and smell bad. Cockroaches love humid place also in the dark and warm, as well as many foods such as storage cabinets and library files. Cockroaches do not directly cause the disease, but it poses a serious disorder, because it can damage clothing, books and contaminate food. Likely to transmit the disease mechanically since been found worm eggs, protozoa, viruses and fungi that are pathogens in the body of the cockroach. Berenuk trees commonly found along the highway in addition to making the shade can also reduce pollution. Unfortunately, many of his fall was not utilized. Even though Berenuk tree has a variety of useful for herbal remedies, midges, potentially become bioethanol resource. This study aims to introduce the benefits of fruit Berenuk to repel cockroaches. There are many mahogany trees in SMPN 26 Surabaya. They are underutilized so the fruits and seeds can be made as toys by the children, and the falling leaves make the area becomes dirty. The mahogany tree has many benefits especially is in the seeds. SMPN 26 is located between the fields and the railroad tracks so the mosquitoes are in SMPN 26 Surabaya and some of them is ferocious mosquitoes or aigepty aides. Mosquitoes are annoying in the teaching learning process so it make the children become restless. From the following description of SMP 26 KIR team will make repellents based from the mahogany seeds. This lotion does not use harmful chemicals. The materials are used in the manufacture of this lotion is mahogany seeds, cleansing milk, eucalyptus oil, perfume, water. The benefit is in addition to anti-mosquito lotion also managed to remove dirt in the body. The processing of original mahogany seeds until finally ground seeds, then seeds that have been pounded dried under the sun. Then the seeds are sifted and separated between smooth and rough. After sieving, the seeds are mixed with the cleansing milk, eucalyptus oil, and a little water, then stir until smooth and be a mosquito repellent. These repellents have been tested by some people. In addition, mosquitoes are also very disturbing because that behavior like biting human skin, causing itching. So far people are still using insect repellent lotions and Mosquitocidal. But lotion Mosquitocidal allegedly contains substances that can cause allergic skin, irritation, erythema (redness of the skin). Through this study, it can be concluded that this mosquito perfume can be an alternative solution other than a body fragrances can also be used to repel mosquitoes. In addition, mosquito Perfume is easy and cheap, so that it can be made independently at home. Need to conduct further research on the benefits anti nyamuk serta perfume refinement and improvement of the quality of this mosquito. Soap is one ingredient that is known to clean the body of bacterial. Soap is one of the main requirements needed when someone showers. In addition to have the advantages it also has side effects on the security side. Among other artificial colors, artificial fragrances, triclosan, chemical additives that can damage our skin. One of the side effects of bath soap is harmful for beauty can cause the skin to lose moisture and tend to be dry and dull. During the lotion is used to restore the skin's moisture. However, everyone may not be willing and able to buy hand and body lotions because it is less practical and relatively expensive price. In addition, the lotion is not necessarily suitable for all skin types. Shower Gel we made was a brownish green. Shower Gel can be made at home because it is easy and cheap. Simple test we have done. A total of 10 people willing to become sample. The 10 people we asked to use regular liquid soap on the right hand and Shower Gel Aloe vera in the left hand. After 15 minutes, both hands are rinsed with water. Furthermore, of the 10 people, 7 people says that the left hand was more moist and smooth when compared to the right hand. The content of Aloe vera or aloe vera works to moisturize, soften, and soften the skin. In addition, the content of antioxidants in the Aloe vera and rose help heal wounds. Household waste is general problem in daily life. Based on the Antara News (2013) proclaimed that 62% of the river pollution of Surabaya is caused by the domestic waste. Household waste disposal of both organic and inorganic is not well controlled. The waste of jackfruit peel (Artocarpus heterophyllus Lamk.) is one of the organic waste that thrown away thus increasing the amount of household waste that is less handled. Though the content of jackfruit peel is not inferior to its flesh. Carbohydrates of waste contain about 27.60 grams / 100 grams (Rukmana, 1996). From this observation, jackfruit peel waste (Artocarpus heterophyllus Lamk.) can be used as the material of nata de Jackfruit. Thickness measurement on treatment one (P1) has the thickest among others. It has 4,41 mm. In the other experiment, the nutritional content of nata de Jackfruit should be tested to determine the cellulose composition of nata de Jackfruit.

Due to the fast growing, water hyacinth weed can disturb the ecosystem, making it unbalance by covers the surface at a river glacier can disturb the ecosystem of the river and reduce the amount of oxygen that goes into the water. Make over water hyacinth also contains cellulose so we try it as a replacement material of wood fiber in the papermaking process. From the above background there is the most fundamental problem, namely "How to improve the content of cellulose when dried water hyacinth or after the cooking process?" For us Indonesians, having Tempe and Tahu as our daily intake is a necessity, just like how incomplete the menu books in Indonesian restaurants would seem like without the presence of those two must-have basic ingredients. The inefficiency of the growth in soybeans got worse, and statistics currently showed that almost 90% of the soybeans (worth of US$4.8 billion) we use came from the United States, this force government to import soybean, One of the factors that can cause of the relatively unproductive growth of the soybean plants in Indonesia is the pest, and Spodoptera litura in one of the major pests hosting on soybean plants. The extract caused mortality of larva, higher mortality of the larva than the negative control, despite to a lower extent compared to ampicillin. The extract contain HCN, The cyanide ion then interacts with Fe to from Ferric in oxidation process. Inside the mitochondria will form cytochrome in which oxidizes inside the mitochondria to form a more stable and unreactive form, in which will block the respiration system. As an after effect, the haemoglobin will not be able to diffuse oxygen into the transport system, and the subject may die out of lack of oxygen. Cassava peel (Manihot utilisima) can be used for mortality of Spodopthera litura larva as conventional pest for some common plants in Indonesia especially with soybean. Some recommendation for this research are more larva in each container, and the interval time for observation should be shorter and consistent.

Household wastes were increased especially in Ramadhan month. Special food in Ramadhan month is pumpkin compote food. Having taken the pumpkin, the peel throws away useless and adds organic waste list. Though pumpkin peel can be made as more useful products such as nata.

Stichopus hermanii has many contens, one of them is collagen. Collagen serves to enhance the growth of ligaments. In this experiment, we tried to prove the effect of collagen contained in the Stichopus hermanii extract on the growth of ligaments. For the methods, The subjects (Cavia cobya) were two males. The first Cavia cobaya team was not injected Stichopus hermanii extract.The second team was given injected. The result is we find a growing number of ligaments after the Stichopus hermanii extract injected. So, collagen contained in the Stichopus hermanii extract has an effect for increase in the number of the Ligaments, so if it has an effect for Ligaments, otomaticly it will helps the bone health.

Bawang putih menjadi bahan dasar pembuatan ice cream karena bawang putih ini mengandung berbagai manfaat yang baik untuk tubuh, diantaranya untuk menurunkan tekanan darah tinggi. Tujuan dari riset ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan cara membuat ice cream dari bawang putih. Subyek penelitian adalah 42 gram bawang putih yang dibagi menjadi 3 kelompok. Kelompok pertama, ice cream yang diberi 6 gram bawang putih. Kelompok kedua, ice cream diberi 12 gram bawang putih. Dan kelompok keiga, ice cream diberi 24 gram bawang putih. Setelah melakukan penelitian, kami mengujikan ke 30 anak. Hasilnya, pada kelompok pertama, hasil ujinya adalah 14 orang mengatakan enak, 10 orang mengatakan sedang, dan 6 orang mengatakan tidak enak.Pada kelompok kedua, hasilnya adalah 10 orang mengatakan enak, 9 orang mengatakan sedang, dan 11 orang mengatakan tidak enak. Dan yang terakhir pada kelompok ketiga, hasilnya adalah 4 orang mengatakan enak, 6 orang mengatakan sedang, dan 20 orang mengatakan tidak enak. Sehingga, dari 30 orang yang telah mencoba, maka disimpulkan bahwa mereka lebih menyukai ice cream yang diberi 6 gram bawang putih. Karena ice cream yang terlalu banyak bawang putih akan menimbulkan rasa getir di mulut.

So we had the idea to make it along with earthworms as agents for the decomposers of organic waste. The problems are : 1) What is the proper ratio between the land, the rest of the log mushroom powder, organic waste for at composting ? 2) How does the growth rate in the medium heavy worm humus, residual and organic waste mushroom logs? 3) How long can a worm composting wet garbage?

Although in terms of the area, Indonesia is the largest mangrove in the world but its condition has declined both in quality and quantity from year after year (Onrizal, 2002). So, conservation efforts through the data base and evaluation of mangrove existence is necessary. This research is carried out through observation and exploration of plant samples that are obtained morphologically with leaf and root. The research is conducted in Ekowisata Mangrove Wonorejo Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia. The research consists of two phases, the first is the sampling phase, followed by the next phase which is the identification and analysis of the morphology of leaves and roots of mangrove trees. All identification based on Tjitrosoepomo (2009). There are four species of mangrove that are found and identified at the region of the Ekowisata Mangrove Wonorejo. They are: Rhizophora mucronata, Sonneratia alba, Avicennia alba, and Thespesia populnea.

We have seen that papaya leaves and cigarette butts have properties that are beneficial for plants. Many people say papaya leaves just can be used as a food ingredient, whereas in fact the content contained in papaya and cigarette butts is very rich, maybe people think that cigarette butts have no benefit at all. But the reality, content of tobacco in cigarettes and ekstrak of the papaya has benefits that are very favourable for the plant. The research method we used was the experimental method where we describe presents the results regarding the benefits of papaya leaves and cigarette butts in plants. Besides that we also use the technique of quantitative data and the source data we obtained also through the study of literature and documentation. Based on the experiments can be seen that the results we obtained from these studies that the papaya leaf has a high influence on the pest mortality than cigarette butt waste.

Indonesia community often use flour as many groceries. Regular all-purpose flour base material made of noodles, bread, and cake. However, humans need more intake of calcium to prevent bone disease and helps growth, especially the growth of children. We try to manage the egg shells are usually just discarded because people was not aware of the content contained in there, we can use the calcium to substances the supplement nutrition in wheat flour. The purpose of this study is to describe the process of making flour with egg skin shell material and describes the eligibility of the consumption of flour mixed with egg shells. This research method using question form the response given to the 29 respondents to provide heterogeneous random assessment to the quality of the flavor of the bread made from flour egg shells are examined. Manipulated variable is the amount of flour of egg shells, and the response is a cake that is produced has a different texture. Based on organoleptic testing of bread flour egg shells tested on 29 respondents consisted of 58% and 42% of adult children. Be aware that the respondents prefer bread from flour eggs have shells 15 grams with an average of 76, while the bread from flour mixed with egg shells of as many as 17 grams has an average of 24. The conclusions of this research are the flour mixed with egg shells as much as 15 grams for bread making ingredients more favored by the people of Al-Azhar 13 with reviews of flavor, color, texture, scent.

Abstrak

Avocado (Persea americana) is a tropical fruit with various benefits for human health, but its seed contains Persin (C23H40O4). It is a fungicidal toxin that is generally harmless to humans, but dangerous when consumed by domestic animals in large quantities. In this experiment, the main objective is to investigate the effectiveness of avocado seeds as an insecticide. First, remove the avocado seeds, finely cut them into small pieces, then blend them until powdery. Mix the powder with 50% saturated NaOH. The thick liquid we have now is very toxic. We tested its effectiveness in repelling insects by comparing it with store-bought insect repellent. The test was done in 3 different environments: hot, room temperature, and cold. Our avocado seeds are equally as effective as the store-bought insecticide. However, our insecticide is more natural and less chemically-processed than the store-bought ones. Thus, avocado seeds are a great alternative or even a replacement to store-bought insect repellents in the near future because it is less chemically processed and it can also be a way to reduce waste by optimizing the use of avocados.

Penyakit batuk yang penularannya sangat mudah ini banyak dialami siswa siswi SMPN 11. Banyak siswa yang terkena batuk kering maupun batuk berdahak. Kami, peneliti berinisiatif dan berupaya untuk memberikan solusi. Peneliti berusaha mencoba menggabungkan ketiga bahan daun seledri, kunyit dan madu menjadi racikan berupa sirup sebagai obat batuk. Permasalahan yang akan kami teliti adalah : ?apakah obat batuk yang terdiri dari bahan daun seledri, kunyit dan madu ini aman dan efektif untuk batuk berdahak maupun batuk kering ??. Hipotesa penelitian ini adalah bahwa apabila ketiga bahan tersebut dipadukan dan diracik maka akan efektif untuk mengatasi batuk yaitu meluruhkan dahak, menyegarkan tenggorokan dan menghangatkan badan, sehingga batuk akan reda baik batuk berdahak maupun batuk kering. Desain penelitian diawali dengan melakukan percobaan dengan menggabungkan bahan daun seledri, kunyit dan madu menjadi racikan berupa sirup dengan komposisi yang terukur. Melakukan uji coba keefektifan dengan memberikan hasil sirup obat batuk pada responden atau obyek sebagai sampel dalam penelitian secara terukur. Hasil analisis data menyimpulkan bahwa hasil ramuan obat batuk tersebut efektif untuk mengobati batuk. Rasa yang dihasilkan sangat disukai dan reaksinya sangat efektif. Obat batuk ini juga dapat digunakan oleh penderita diabet dan jantung. Efek samping minum obat ini setelah dikonsultasikan dan diuji cobakan hampir sama sekali tidak ada bagi tubuh.

Dan dari hasil observasi ini juga dapat membantu penduduk setempat untuk pembangunan sarana penyediaan air bersih. Salah satu faktor penyebab terjadinya Intrusi Air Laut yaitu pengambilan air tanah yang melebihi kapasitas kota besar di pesisir laut seperti di Surabaya. Dampak negatif dari Intrusi Air Laut itu sendiri adalah terjadinya penurunan kualitas air tanah untuk kebutuhan manusia. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara observasi ke daerah pesisir pantai kenjeran dengan cara mewawancarai sebagian penduduk pesisir pantai Kenjeran. Berdasarkan kenyataan yang diperoleh dari hasil tersebut, maka sebagian sumur milik penduduk telah tercemar oleh air laut.

This study focuses on waste Noni seed. Noni seeds have enough fiber (790.4 ? 23.8 g.kg-1) to produce bioethanol. Bioethanol helpful in providing solutions to solving the problem of shortage of fuel as well as solving the problems of environmental cleanliness. The first research step is the process of separation, drying, milling and fermentation. The research conducted by the author in the Junior High School 21 Surabaya began on 9 September 2014 is the next stage distillation process is carried out in chemical laboratories SMAN 18 Surabaya began on September 18, 2014 Before the seeds are separated from the fermentation process of Noni fruit pulp and dried under direct sunlight . Then the seeds are crushed and fermented dried Noni. Before the fermentation process takes place, the milled grain is mixed with 1100 ml of Noni mineral water for every 250 grams of Noni seed (milled). The fermentation process is done by using the yeast two pieces of tape for 38 hours at room temperature, and wrapped with cloth coat. The result of filtered extraction with cloth. Results last extract incorporated into the mineral water bottles and sealed. The results of the last extraction subsequently distilled with distillation equipment. As many as 10 ml distilled from Noni seed extract 500 ml Erlenmeyer flask glittering accommodated. Furthermore, the liquid distilled qualitatively tested by pouring a liquid such distillation results with a fire lit on a stick. As a result, the surface of the burning liquid. The proliferation of packaged beverages in bottles pose a problem, especially in at school. In general, high school students in particular are very reluctant to bring lunch from home, with a variety of reasons, for example ranging from to-objection to the embarrassment factor. This causes waste bottle in school and much more scattered. Processing bottle into a work we have done in school such as vases and flowers, pencil, bracelet etc.. For that we try to change the bottle into a candle, because bottle itself is made from propene monomer which is also used as a fuel is LPG. Indirectly propene can also be used as a candle. Experiments was very simple: heat the water with bottled water that has been washed. Then discharge printed in the glass - small glass or objects - objects that may be used to print. Beverage bottles that have been cut small - small and boiled with water will melt and black gray - gray. Discharge printed wax will harden and be ready to be used both for lighting and for decoration or souvenir. Trash cannot be avoided but we can process waste into valuable goods and benefit both the school and the parties. Cigarette butts are often thrown away carelessly on the grounds, streets, and other places that are not appropriate. This of course creates environment damage and also not beautiful for the eyes of humans. Now one of the ways to reduce pollution is through plants. So the idea is to plant a plant hydroponically using cigarette filters as the holder. Of course the problem is, can the plant survive? So the writer chose Sansevieria lorentii that the writer predict can survive and grow well in this media. So the writer first makes the hydroponic nutrition then plant two Sansevieria lorentiis in coal as the holder to be the control. Then the writer plants three Sansevieria lorentiis in cigarette filters as the holder. The writer also adds Cadmium (one of the substance in cigarette) to see how far it can live. Then the writer compares the control with the Sansevieria lorentii that are planted in cigarette filters and also compare the control with the plant that is planted in cigarette filters plus the extra Cadmium (5 ppm, 20 ppm, 15 ppm). The outcome the writer got was that Sansevieria lorentii can actually live with cigarette butts as its holder and the condition is also the same with the one that the writer plants in coal as its holder. It can even live when the writer adds Cadmium in it. Based on the analysis, the writer can conclude that the Sansevieria lorentii has a resistance if it is planted with cigarette butts as the holder in hydroponic technology and that the cigarette butt wastes can be used as an alternative holder for hydroponic system.

From that background, appearing several formulation of the problem, namely :Whether basil leaf can eliminate the odor caused by Hydrogen sulfide from jengkol ? Environment issue is one thing that must be solved immediately. The main issue in our environment is global warming as the result of greenhouse effect. Greenhouse effect emerges as a result of absorption and reflection back radiated wave that emitted by the earth and as the result the heat is building up close to the earth surface. That happens over and over again until the earth climate increasing. One of the gasses that have contribution of greenhouse effect is methane (CH4). Methane comes from structural and nonstructural carbohydrate anaerobe fermentation by methanogens (methane bacteria producer) in rumen of ruminant livestock and then open to atmosphere through eructation process. To decrease the amount of methane that produced by methanogens bacteria in cattle stomach, it is needed methanogens antibacterial that is methanotrophic bacteria. The experiment designs are methanotrophic bacteria sample extraction from sea water or compost, anaerobe bacteria isolation, methanotrophic bacteria propagation by using molasses medium, and cattle fodder making. The result of fodder making is the mixing of bagasse and special food that has been grown by methanotrophic bacteria. When the fodder is consumed by cattle, the fodder can oxidize methane that produced by methanogens bacteria becomes carbon dioxide (CO2). The oxidizing process of methane occurs in cattle rumen. Methane that produced by cattle rumen can be reduced and changed into carbon dioxide. Methane reduction effort is not only done by methanotrophic bacteria fermentation fodder. We need to do some activity so that carbon dioxide as the result of methane reduction does not pollute environment and give other negative effects.

By looking at the condition, so indispensable a special method to treat water to be consumed. This study as well as steps taken by utilizing pattern and Reduce Reuse (reuse and reduce the presence of waste) of which is the rub ashes from the burning of waste materials. Based on the results of testing we did, found that the ash is commonly used as a brush cleaning household appliances can be used as a binder of water pollutants. Under the heading of research HUSK ASH MEMBRANE SYSTEM AS BINDER water pollutant, proving that the ash can be used as a purifying scrub water which is currently in great demand by the public because the PDAM water conditions sometimes experience bottlenecks and turbid. Based on the results of research that we do with comparing the quality of water purification without the use of ash and ash scrub brush to prove that the water is filtered by rubbing ashes filtering results more clear and odorless carbon due to the nature itself can absorb odors. In this study we wanted to find out how the history of ice cream, how to make it, and how to eating ice cream is good and beneficial to body. This experiment aims to find out how to make ice cream from vegetable and also what content is beneficial to our bodies on the ice cream. In this study, we use the method in a group, which consists of two members and the results of research from our group in the form of ice cream made from vegetable material, namely tomatoes, carrots and cucumbers. The results are in addition to delicious and also beneficial for our bodies.

Authors interested in conducting research in order to minimize the erosion of natural resources such as sand by using rice husk ash waste that does not have the quality in order to sell high and to be used as an alternative to sand. The problem of this experiment are as follows: 1) How does the description of rice husk ash and sand ?, 2) How do I make rice husk ash as a substitute for sand ?, 3) What advantages rice husk ash to be made into alternative sand? The purpose of this study are: 1) to describe the content of rice husk ash and sand, 2) Describe the advantages of rice husk ash to be made into alternative sand, 3) Describe ways of making rice husk ash. The research approach used in this study is using a qualitative approach. Qualitative research is research that aims to understand the phenomenon of what is experienced by research subjects such as behaviors, motivations, actions and other descriptive manner in the form of words and language, in a specific context that naturally and by utilizing a variety of natural methods. The results and conclusions of this study there are three. All three are: 1) The content contained in the sand, one of the most important part is silica (silicon teroksida, or SiO2) and the content contained in the chemical composition of rice husk ash, namely: Carbon (carbon compounds) 1.33%, Hydrogen 1.54%, oxygen 33.64%, 16.98% silica, 2) the process of making alternative sand from rice husk ash by way of preparing rice husk ash from rice that has been chipped and then dried oven fuel combustion until the temperature reaches 500-700 ? C for get content of silica as a reinforcing amforf that many buildings, 3) Results of building products using rice husk ash has many advantages from the sand in general, namely: rice husk ash is stronger with the criteria when cover onto the floor just slightly cracked, dry husk ash quicker and easier hardened, and softer texture husk ash and black colors Mild.

Air PDAM yang sering kita gunakan masih mengandung logam berat. Meskipun telah melalui berbagai tahap penjernihan bahkan pemurnian, ternyata masih ada saja logam yang tak bisa teruraikan.Apalagi dengan air sumur. Walaupun terdapat di dalam tanah, ternyata pengeboran sumur yang semakin dalam mengakibatkan logam berat semakin banyak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen yang sebenarnya dengan pola Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Air yang dicelupkan kulit pisang kepok lebih sedikit mengandung logam daripada air yang tidak dicelupkan kulit pisang kepok. Dan air yang dicelupkan dengan 2 kulit pisang kepok mengandung logam yang lebih sedikit daripada air yang dicelupkan dengan 1 kulit pisang kepok. Semakin banyak kandungan logam yang terdapat pada air, maka warna teh yang di campur dengan air akan berwarna kehitam-hitaman. Begitu pula sebaliknya. Jika kadar logam berat yang terkandung pada air sedikit, maka warna teh yang di campur dengan air akan terlihat jernih. Untuk penelitian selanjutnya disarankan untuk dapat melakukan penelitian penjernihan air menggunakan kulit pisang selain kulit pisang kepok sebagai media penjernih air PDAM dan air Sumur.

Pada umunya banyak orang yang mengeluh sakit di seluruh badan, terutama pada bagian punggung. Penyakit tersebut sering disebut dengan penyakit pegal linu. Penyakit seperti itu banyak obatnya, kami menggunakan daun sirsak dan daun mengkudu sebagai obatnya dengan menggunakan permen. Permen adalah makanan ringan atau jajanan yang mudah ditemukan dan harganya terjangkau. Inovasi ini dibuat tanpa bahan pengawet. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk membuat inovasi terbaru dari permen yang dapat mengobati penyakit pegal linu. Alat yang digunakan adalah kompor, sendok, panci, cetakan. Bahan yang digunakan adalah daun mengkudu, daun sirsak, kayu manis, air tebu, tepung maizena, tepung ketan, perisa makanan, dan pewarna makanan. Hasilnya, permen kami dapat mengurangi presentase pegal linu karena mengandung. Hasil dari analisa kami, membuktikan bahwa permen MERAK (daun mengkudu dan daun sirsak sedikit mengobati penyakit pegal linu. Untuk ke depannya, permen ini dapat dicobakan kepada lansia.

Jeruk adalah tumbuhan berbunga anggota marga citrus dari suku rutaceae (sukujeruk-jerukan) , Anggotanya berbentuk pohon dengan buah yang berdaging dengan rasa masamyang segar, meskipun banyak di antara anggotanya yang memiliki rasa manis. Rasa masam berasal dari kandungan asam sitrat yang memang terkandung pada semua anggotanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat bahan bakar alternatif baru, karena bahan bakar yang ada sekarang mungkin tidak akan bertahan lama dikarenakan banyaknya alat transportasi yang kian hari semakin banyak. Penelitian ini membahas tentang kulit jeruk yang bisa diekstrak menjadi bahan bakar alternative yang nantinya bahan bakar alternative ini dapat dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat untuk menjadi bahan bakar alternative yang murah dan mudah didapat karena bahannya didapatkan dari limbah kulit jeruk yang ada disekitar kita.

Abstrak

Generally in the swamp - marsh soil properties acidic soil so that plants can not be grown to perfection turns wood ash can increase the pH of acidic soils to be normal. The study was conducted by mixing acidic soil with wood ash powder. Then examined the effect of ash firewood fed on plant growth. The results were obtained ash firewood can neutralize acid soils of pH 4 to pH 7 and of the comparison of plant growth in acid soil plant leaves begin to turn yellow and fall off, in neutral soil remains fertile crop plants, while the plants grown in acidic soil mixed with ash plants grow fuel wood remains fertile. It can be concluded wood ash can neutralize acid soil and fertilize. More research is still needed to determine the specific benefits of ash firewood or way or the most effective ingredients neutralize the acidic nature of the soil.

Abstrak

Soybean has been one kind of important food in Indonesia as substitution for meat because of its contains of high essential amino acid, as . Genistein, one kind of isoflavon, could give effect to spermatogenesis like decrease the number of spermatozoa. Genistein is present 60% of isoflavon which is consisted in soybean, assumed to decrease the number of spermatozoa. In this research, spermatozoa from mice which is feed with soybean, is isolated and compared with normal spermatozoa from normal mice, to see the result of consuming soybean to spermatogenesis. To get sample, the first thing to do was giving treatment to the both of mice (control and treatment). Control mice were given normal food (pellet) and treatment mice were given normal food mixed with soybean. Feeding was done consecutively in 3 days. To get the spermatozoa as sample from both of mice, isolation was done in the final day. Spermatozoa from both of mice was isolated and seen through microscope. Counting spermatozoa used hemacytometer with random sampling method. Spermatozoa counting with hemacytometer showed that there is an amount difference between the control mice and treatment one. Consuming too much soybean could decrease the amount of spermatozoa in spermatogenesis in men as we could see in mice.

Abstrak

Most Indonesian people consume cholesterol food everyday. Presentation of Indonesian people who got cholesterol in their body is 27 per 1000 people and most Indonesian people usually consume hot or iced tea. Many studies have shown that tea has many benefits. Tea is classified into three major categories: Green Tea, Oolong Tea, and Black Tea. Of these types of tea, green tea is the most well-known. Green tea is different from other types of tea because it has undergone less processing. It contains many catechin polyphenols and theaflavin. Green tea doesn?t oxidize (which is how black and oolong teas are made), so it contains more health-boosting antioxidants. Cholesterol extraction was done only by 1 method. Chopped the fat by scalpel, 3 gr each, then put them into test tube and add 8mL of acetone: ethanol (1:1). Boiled the test tubes approximately 5 minutes in water bath. Take them out from water bath and let them cool for a few minutes. Precipitated it in centrifuge for 15 minutes with 1750 rpm. It will becomes 2 layers, take the top layer and move it to another test tube, precipitated it again until it becomes paste or residue. After it became paste, add 2 mL of chloroform and homogenate it for a while then add 2mL of combination between sulfate acid and acetic anhidrate ( 1:30 ), homogenate it again. Put them in dark room for 5 minutes and its color will turn to green color. The spectrophotometry examination showed that the extracts contain cholesterol. It was indicated by similarities in wavenumber of absorption of functional between the extracts from milk.

About 2-7% babies under 1 year old have an allergy with a protein that is contained in diary milk. One of the step in neutralizing that allergic reaction is to make an alternative other than milks. One of the alternative which can be used to replace diary milk is Phaleria macrocarpa that is mixed with milk, because Phaleria macrocarpa contains many beneficial substances, especially polyphenol, which can help neutralizing the allergies. The method used is through boiling and extraction. Boiling by sugar water reduces the bitter taste of Phaleria macrocarpa. Extraction is done by blending and filtering Phaleria macrocarpa. Then the extract of Phaleria macrocarpa should be mixed with dairy milk to neutralize the allergen proteins. To know if the allergen has been neutralized, a protein test should be done by using biuret solution (2 M NaOH and 0,5 M CuSO4) The bitter and sour taste of Phaleria macrocarpa has been reduced and the taste of Phaleria macrocarpa has become sweet and somewhat sour because of the sugar that has been boiled with fruit slices. And Phaleria macrocarpa?s extract can neutralize the protein on dairy products that cause allergic reactions with only a little amount of the extract. The contents of the dairy milk such as lactose, calcium, etc. would still be there after being mixed with the extract of Phaleria macrocarpa, but the allergents (protein) would have been neutralized by the polyphenol content of Phaleria macrocarpa.So, right now people who are allergic to dairy milk can consume it safely.

The program trains the students of SMPN 5 Surabaya to process duck eggs become salty duck eggs. The duck eggs, as the main ingredients, are from Mrs. Suharmi?s, our biology teacher, farm. For this reason, the researchers do a study to increase the quality of duck eggs using food waste, in this case shrimp waste. The researchers choose shrimp waste, because there are some home industries processed shrimps for canned food. The waste is in the form of shrimp?s heads and shells. Shrimp and the waste contain vitamin D, vitamin B12, vitamin C and vitamin A. The research is conducted to know that shrimp waste can increase the level of Omega 3 in ducks eggs.

Based on our results the longer time of wastewater treatment, the results obtained, the better. Papaya fruit is a natural preservative, because this fruit contains the enzyme papain. This enzyme can be used as a natural preservative. Natural or biological preservatives are safer to use than artificial preservatives because it has no side effects. It was necessary to research that can explain the benefits of the enzyme papain which can be used as a meat preservative. Each sample were each given 25 grams of beef samples. A given sample of raw papaya skin. A.1 samples were not given any (control), 0.25 grams of sample A.2 given papaya skin, A.3 given sample of 0.35 grams of papaya skin, A.4 given sample of 0.45 grams of papaya skin, and sample A 0.55 .5 given papaya skin. While the sample B was given a ripe papaya skin. B.1 samples were not given any (control), 0.25 grams of sample B.2 given papaya skin, B.3 given sample of 0.35 grams of papaya skin, B.4 given sample of 0.45 grams of papaya skin, and sample B 0.55 .5 given papaya skin. After being stored for 2 days, samples of the same rotten A.1 and B.1. Samples A.2, A.3, A.4, and A.5 just a little smelly. Samples B.2, B.3, B.4, and B.5 almost as rotten, more foul than sample A, but sample A.3 more rotten and slimy (probably due to less clean). It can be concluded that the enzyme papain can preserve meat and contains the enzyme papain in papaya fruit raw more than ripe papaya. The enzyme papain can be used as a preservative of meat or protein foods. Papain enzyme found in many fruits, especially unripe papaya.

Religious-based schools, especially Islam certainly encourages the students to pray in school before going home. One of the requirements syahnya prayer is purification or thaharah or ablution. In the time we spent ablution 5 liters of water per student. If the number of students to 500 students can be thought of 2,500 liters is wasted and it was not relevant to Surah Al-Isra 'verse 26 - 27th. For that we try to do ablution water sewage treatment experiments used in watering plants. Experiments were carried out very simple first sampling process ablutions which were later incorporated into the beverage bottle that had contained material - material filtration, sequentially from top to bottom charcoal, cotton, sponge, sponge filter, and cotton. After the first process finishes processing the results of water directly into the tub in which there is a water pump and connected directly with a hose that is also buried in the ground. In the first process can ablutions were initially turbid, sandy, slightly yellowish - brass and slightly frothy become clear. The water is crystal clear that this is put in the tank and then supplied to the plant through a hose that has been hollowed out so as to resemble a small fountain that function for watering plants. Ablution water is not a dirty water because of its use only to purify so it can be reused as plant watering can so that we can save about 25 liters of water. This study was conducted on a small scale and the process of making fountains can also be varied.

Nutrition status of a person is measured by means of anthropometry. Classification of nutritional status is viewed based on the Body Mass Index or BMI (WHO, 2000). It can be categorized as underweight, normal, overweight, and obese. Each category is potentially risks with health such as coronary heart disease and diabetes. There are not many research about nutrition of community (Podojoyo, 2006). So, it is important and interesting to do research about the nutrition status condition and distribution of Gloria 2 Christian Senior High School Surabaya students. This information can be the basic data for handling program and prevention program as well as health evaluation. This research is conducted using survey method by collecting information on height and weight status throughout all Gloria 2 Christian Senior High School eleventh grade student to determine the nutritional status. After teh data is collected, it is change with BMI formula, ranging categorized into underweight, normal, overweight, obese I, obese II, and obese III. Nutritional status of the entire Christian Senior High School students of XI grade Gloria 2 is classified according to their nutritional status through graphic using Microsoft Excel. The result of this research shows that there are 21,81% in Gloria 2 Christian Senior High School grade XI whose status are underweight nutritional. 54,38 % students have normal nutritional status. 20% students have overweight nutritional status. 3,8 % students have obese nutritional students.

The purpose of the study is making solid soap maja fruit expected with us apporiate technology in getting result optimum and can be use beneficial for community especially in Indonesian. This research the manufacture of solid soap were obtained from study research by product maja fruit were treated with NaOH. As for materials used in this study is the result of solid soap, which is the minimum amount of 71% fatty acids, free fatty acids maximum 2,5%, calculated as the free alkali maximum of 0,1% NaOH, the insoluble substances the maximum alcohol content of 2,5% , olive oil 1,5% and a maximum of 15% mineral water. While the physical properties of solid soap such as power cleans, foam stability and color has not reached the standar. Working procedures of making solid soap maja fruit is first complied equipment in accordance with already available. Starting with the manufacturing process of solid soap maja fruit. Soap is made by saponification of olive oils and NaOH at a ratio 3:1 at temperature of 1000C. Olive oils is a mixture of chemical reactions Triglycerides, Oleic Acids, Tocopherol, Phenolic compounds and by comparison of different according to the formulation set out to processes manufacture of solid soap maja fruit. Which has been saponified soap is then poured into the printing as you wish and dried for ?7 days. In the study, the form of soaps, the composition and number of addictive substances has been limited.

Kali ini kami akan mengulas tentang pemanfaatan arang tempurung kelapa dan kulit pisang sebagai isi batere. Baterai bekas digolongkan sebagai limbah B3. Oleh karena itu kami ingin memanfaatkan kembali baterai bekas yang tidak terpakai menjadi baterai yang dapat dipakai kembali. Kami memilih kulit pisang dan arang tempurung kelapa sebagai pengganti isi baterai. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kulit pisang mengandung mineral yang dapat berfungsi sebagai elektrolit, arang tempurug kelapa mengandung karbon aktif sebagai pengganti karbon yang sudah habis tegangannya. Arang tempurung kelapa selama ini lebihsering kita kenal sebagai bahan bakar untuk pemanggangan ikan atau makanan lain. Dibalik kehitaman arang tempurung kelapa itu, ternyata menyimpan nilai ekonomis yang lebih tinggi lagi.Tempurung kelapa yang dijadikan arang dapat ditingkatkan nilai ekonomisnya dengan menjadikannya karbon aktif. Cara membuat karbon aktif dari tempurung kelapa juga relatif lebih mudah. Karbon aktif berfungsi sebagai filter untuk menjernihkan air, pemurnian gas, industri minuman, farmasi, katalisator, dan berbagai macam penggunaan lain. Tempurung kelapa adalah salah satu bahan karbon aktif yang kualitasnya cukup baik dijadikan karbon aktif.

Di Surabaya, hampir berpuluh-puluh ton sampah terkumpul sia-sia. Padahal sosialisasi, penyuluhan, ataupun materi sudah diterima para pelajar Surabaya dan masyarakat Surabaya. Namun, materi itu hanyalah sia-sia atau tidak dilaksanakan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Untuk itu perlu diadakannya program baru. Seperti mengganti bahan dasar plastik (Minyak Bumi yang bersifat Karsinogen) dengan bahan yang lebih herbal yang sering kita jumpai. Misalnya lidah buaya (Aloe Vera) Plastik dari lidah buaya ini akan jauh lebih ramah lingkungan. Selain bisa hancur ditanah lebih cepat, juga dapat digunakan sebagai antiseptik. Tak hanya itu plastik ini bisa dibuat media pembelajaran Bioplastik Biologi yang nantinya dapat membantu siswa. Melakukan penelitian, desainnya dengan membagi 9 cetakan. Cetakan 1, 2, dan 3 diisi dengan resin saja. Cetakan 4, 5, dan 6, diisi dengan resin yang dicampur dengan pati Aloe Vera. Dan cetakan 7, 8, dan 9, diiisi dengan pati Aleo Vera saja. Bio Plastik untuk pembelajaran yang paling baik adalah yang dengan pati Aloe Vera karena lebih bening. Abstrak

Daun gaharu menjadi bahan dasar pembuatan permen karena daun gaharu memiliki banyak manfaat dalam bidang kesehatan, yakni sebagai bahan herbal untuk membuat obat-obatan. Salah satunya, adalah sebagai obat asma. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membuat daun gaharu sebagai obat asma menjadi lebih praktis dengan cara daun gaharu yang di olah menjadi teh gaharu di ubah menjadi permen gaharu. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah mencampurkan seduhan air teh gaharu dengan ekstrak rasa buah lalu di olah menjadi permen. Setelah permen siap di konsumsi, dibuat angket sebagai survei penelitian. Pada survei pertama didapat hasil berhasil sebanyak 3 konsumen, gagal sebanyak 1 konsumen, dan biasa sebanyak 6 konsumen. Pada survei kedua didapat hasil berhasil sebanyak 6 konsumen, gagal sebanyak 2 konsumen, dan biasa sebanyak 3 konsumen. Pada survei ketiga didapat hasil berhasil sebanyak 1 konsumen, tidak ada yang gagal, dan biasa sebanyak 4 konsumen. Pada survei keempat didapat hasil biasa sebanyak 10 konsumen, tidak ada yang berhasil dan gagal. Dari hasil survei penelitian dengan menggunakan angket survei sebanyak 36 orang didapatkan hasil 10 orang konsumen berhasil pulih dari asmanya, karena kandungan pholtneolic dalam daun gaharu mampu berkonsentrasi dengan asma yang di derita oleh konsumen.

Manfaat pada Sawo tidak hanya terletak pada buahnya, melainkan dari daun, biji, batang, dan akar. Pada biji Sawo terdapat senyawa saponin sehingga tanpa kita sadari bahwa biji sawo juga menganduing senyawa saponin. Kebanyakan masyarakat menggunakan zat kimia sebagai pembasmi nyamuk yang tanpa disadari akan berdampak buruk bagi lingkungan dan kesehatan. Biji sawo yang biasanya hanya dibuang ternyata terdapat senyawa saponin yaitu senyawa yang dapat digunakan sebagai anti insekta terutama nyamuk. Pada konsentrasi tinggi, senyawa saponin memiliki keistimewaan sebagai anti insekta. Sehingga saat ini kita dapat mengganti peran bahan kimia tersebut dengan menggunakan biji sawo yang telah diekstrak. Selama penelitian berlangsung, digunakan teknik ?Deskriptif Kuantitatif? dengan harapan data yang diperoleh bersifat representatif atau mewakili terhadap obyek yang diteliti berdasarkan data eksperimen. Untuk mendukung data agar data yang diperoleh valid maka diperlukan instrumen data. Instrumen dalam menunjang data agar dapat diperoleh data yang valid, maka digunakan cara; dokumentasi, studi pustaka. Dari ketiga aquarium tersebut, hasil yang paling baik adalah aquarium C. Dengan konsentrasi ekstrak 9 gram + 15 tetes aromaterapi tersebut dapat diketahui bahwa akan cepat berpengaruh terhadap aktivitas nyamuk. Aquarium B yang berisi ekstrak 3 gram biji sawo dapat mempengaruhi aktivitas nyamuk, namun hasilnya kurang maksimal. Pada aquarium A yang hanya diberi 5 tetes aromaterapi tidak berpengaruh terhadap aktivitas nyamuk sehingga aromaterapi nantinya hanya berfungsi sebagai aroma. Dari eksperimen yang kami lakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa aktrak biji sawo berpengaruh terhadap aktivitas nyamuk dalam konsentrasi tertentu.

The similarities can be in the forms of colors, patterns, numbers, and shapes. Beside set, the concept for this game is PROBABILITY where the cards have the same chance to appear in the game.

Has conducted research on the benefits of the Pythagorean formula that will be used as the foundation of the house projected in the form of mathematical relationship building with the building expected to serve as a sturdy building. The building has a variety of shapes, form the foundation of the house depending on the needs of the owner, the purpose of its founding, and get the kind of buildings that have been there before. The study appears to facilitate the creation of a symmetrical foundation. This research focuses on creating and empowering the Pythagorean formula back as the foundation of the house to make a sturdy building. Pythagoras formula is used to determine the hypotenuse, straight sides, and the sides of the pedestal at the base of the house space .Lots also calculate distances between space, corner angle, the depth of foundation that will be planted, as well as an upright or leaning establishment of the building was made. The results showed that the Pythagorean formula can determine the tilt, straight sides and a base in the space house foundation. Pythagorean formula can be empowered as an easy way to make the foundation of the house by using a precise calculation for the formation of the angle between the corner of the room.

Mathematic has been growing rapidly. It is the basic of the lots of study, one of that is economic financial. Mostly, the prediction of economic financial problem solved by mathematic. One of the topic of economic financial is investment. Investment is putting money into an asset with the expectation of capital appreciation, dividens, and an interest earnings. There are many types of investments. But there are 3 types of the investment that are popular. Those are deposit, foreign currency (US Dollar, Euro, and Japanese Yen), and stock. Especially in 2015 there wiil be Asean Free Trade Area (AFTA) it means a lot of economical ativity will be done in international level. On this research, we have to learn and understand about economic calculation and investment firs. Then we apply our system with Libre Office Calc and we conclude the type of investment to foreign currency (US Dollar, Euro, and Japanese Yen), stock, and deposit. Otherwise, users only have to input the nominal of investment in the blank box, answer several questions, and the system will show the advice to choose the type of investment. We made this system with computer and Libre Office Calc that available. Before made this program, we have designed it manually so we can apply this system easily. The result of this research is the system can give advice to the people who still confuse to choose the appropriate investment. The advantage of this system is simple, accessable, and effective to help people to choose the appropriate between 3 types of investment.

Modal koperasi sekolah SMA Negeri 21 Surabaya menjadi topik dasar penelitian kami. Untuk dijadikan dasar penelitian bidang matematika untuk memprediksi modal usaha koperasi sekolah dengan menggunakan konsep logaritma. Tujuan penelitian kami adalah membuat model hitung modal koperasi sekolah SMA Negeri 21 Surabaya untuk beberapa tahun yang akan datang. Metode yang dilakukan adalah mencari informasi mengenai data modal awal koperasi dan awal tahun berdirinya koperasi sekolah SMA Negeri 21 Surabaya . Lalu dirumuskan kedalam salah satu sifat logaritma . Setelah penelitian dilakukan, dapat ditemukan jumlah modal usaha koperasi sekolah SMA Negeri 21 Surabaya untuk beberapa tahun yang akan datang dan memprediksi waktu berdirinya koperasi sekolah dengan konsep logaritma. Dari hasil perhitungan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa rumus logaritma juga dapat digunakan sebagai rumus bantu hitung modal usaha koperasi sekolah SMA Negeri 21 Surabaya dalam beberapa waktu yang akan datang.

Abstrak

Research has been done to protect the shoreline and includes ecosystems that are inside through the breakwater method with drainage techniques that can reduce the occurrence of abrasion on the shoreline. Abrasion is the process of coastal erosion by the sea wave power and ocean currents which are destructive. Abrasion is usually referred to beach erosion. Shoreline damage due to abrasion is driven by the disruption of the natural balance of the coastal area. Although abrasion can be caused by natural phenomena, but humans often cited as the main cause of abrasion. One way to prevent erosion is by planting mangroves. Human actions that led to abrasion is taking stones and sand on the coast as a building material. Besides felling trees in coastal or mangrove forests spur more rapid occurrence of coastal erosion. Based on the theory of waves that occur in the fluid on damping and wave energy, wave in the fluid that can be dipped with providing backflow wave in the opposite direction. So that made the drainage system at the core of this model is to break the wave energy to provide energy to the fluid that is opposite to the direction of the wave. Coastal drainage system can function effectively if the overall system is functioning properly, especially the vacuum pump. To give a more significant effect, the pump needs to be improved drainage capacity. So that the drainage system can be used to protect the ecosystems in the coastal suburb because it is not intrusive and destructive of life in it. Simultaneously with this system could draw to each sides of coastal marine fishes mainly due to the exchange of water flow.

Simple alternative fuel to reduce the plastic waste side effect become a good solution amid the various issue related to plastic waste recycle in the environment around us. The large amount of plastic waste that scattered in our school is the reason why we try to change it into something useful. Based on our observation towards the environment around us, we get a potential from the plastic waste from the student?s consumption with a high capacity and could be turned into a more efficient alternative fuel. To express our idea we starts by designing a simple plastic waste reactor, after the design has finished, we do some kind of simple experiment, then the result of the tests that we did will be researched further. With this tool we hope that we could reduce plastic waste in our school and can turn from unused plastic waste to the useful one. After see the success of this simple reactor tool, we expect all the citizens in Surabaya can make a simple reactor tool so we could reduce the plastic waste that contaminating our environment.

Abstrak

Zaman sekarang sudah banyak teknik menanam tumbuhan tanpa membutuhkan banyak lahan yaitu menggunakan pot, biasanya yang menjadi masalah yaitu kurangnya perhatian kepada tumbuhan akibatnya tanaman mengalami kekeringan. Untuk mengatasi hal itu kita menciptakan sebuah sistem yang bernama Alarm Pendeteksi Tanah Kering (ALPETARING) yang bekerja dengan cara lampu LED menyala mengakibatkan motor menyiramkan air ke tumbuhan secara otomatis tanpa perlu di siram secara manual. Rangkaian kami buat bersama dengan merangkai komponen pada PCB (Printed Circuit Board) dan memasang, menyolder, merapikan sesuai dengan skema serta mencoba rangkaian tersebut. Apabila penyiraman air terlalu berlebihan atau air terlalu sedikit, maka kita dapat memakai tombol darurat untuk pengurangan dan penambahan air tersebut. Rangkaian bekerja berdasarkan resistansi dari pada tegangan Basis Transistor. Apabila Basis kolektor mengalami resistansi yang kecil maka Emitor sebagai output akan mengeluarkan tegangan yang kecil, sebaliknya bila Basis Colektor mengalami resistansi yang besar maka tegangan Emitor akan semakin besar sampai menyalakan Lampu LED. Jadi bisa diuraikan bila air didalam pot kondisi habis (kering) maka resistansi akan kecil dan tidak akan menyalakan LED sebagai kontrolnya, maka disini diperlukan air yang harus bisa membuat pot kondisi basah, yang sekaligus motor bergerak sesuai perintah dari rangkaian tersebut untuk menyiram air. Dalam hal ini akan ditandai oleh menyalanya lampu LED tersebut. Dua Tegangan digunakan sebagai peralatan percobaan ini, pertama DC 3V sebagai tenaga penggerak rangkaian otomatisasi. Dan AC 220 V sebagai tenaga penggerak Otomatisasi serta relay dan motor penyiram air. Dilengkapi dengan Tombol sebagai Emergensi bila rangkaian tidak bekerja secara maximal. Alat ini memberikan sinyal berupa nyala lampu LED untuk mendeteksi tanah kering dan menyiram secara otomatis dan dapat menghindari dari tanah yang kering.
